First Hand earned a 2019 Platinum Seal of Transparency, the highest level of recognition offered by GuideStar, the world’s largest source of nonprofit information.
To reach the Platinum level, First Hand added extensive information to its GuideStar Nonprofit profile. This demonstrates a commitment to transparency and giving donors meaningful data to evaluate nonprofit performance.
Identifying a potential health issue is step one in building healthy generations. First Hand advocates for children and their families in the health care system, connecting them to providers and resources.
When needed, these families can apply for case grant funding through First Hand.
Through First Hand’s application-based case grant program, individual children around the world receive funding for needed care. The types of grants awarded fall into four main categories: clinical, equipment, displacement, and vehicle modification.
