Identifying a potential health issue is step one in building healthy generations. First Hand advocates for children and their families in the health care system, connecting them to providers and resources.
When needed, these families can apply for case grant funding through First Hand.
Through First Hand’s application-based case grant program, individual children around the world receive funding for needed care. The types of grants awarded fall into four main categories: clinical, equipment, displacement, and vehicle modification. The chart to the right shows the funds allocated for each request category during fiscal year 2019.
