The Love Bag program was created to bring a sense of comfort to children during frightening, unstable times in their lives. Whether these children are facing foster care, abuse prevention and therapeutic centers, financial hardship or other unforeseen circumstances, even the smallest gift can lift their spirits.
Through the program, volunteers fill bags with new, age-appropriate personal items such as blankets, pajamas, bottles and books. These bags are then distributed to children in need. Standard types of bags are available, but may be altered for specific needs.
Infant bags (newborn–18 months):
Toddler/pre-teen bags (sizes 2–14):
How can you help?
Individuals, companies and community organizations (such as schools, churches and scout troops) can get involved in a number of ways:

Sew items for the bags:
Sewing, quilting and crocheting are hobbies that can become great volunteer opportunities. Many items within Love Bags can be handmade, bringing a much more personal touch to the donations.
