How First Hand Closes the Gap

Identifying a potential health issue is step one in building healthy generations. First Hand advocates for children and their families in the health care system, connecting them to providers and resources.

Through First Hand’s application-based case grant program, individual children around the world receive funding for needed care. The types of grants awarded fall into four main categories: clinical, equipment, displacement, and vehicle modification.

The chart to the right shows the funds allocated for each request category during fiscal year 2020.
