Doctors told Cayden’s family that he had only a small chance of returning to his normal activity level after a severe spinal cord injury left him paralyzed. The 17-year-old, through intense physical therapy partially funded by First Hand, far surpassed that outlook. He has returned to school, passed his driver’s license and remains a positive inspiration to everyone he meets.
